To support the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department. To assist therapists with treatments for patients in a variety of age groups under the supervision of the therapist and in accordance with the specific disciplines and regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
No previous experience required.
Special Skills/Qualifications
* Customer service oriented
* Keyboard Skills.
* Current BLS Certification.
* Standard Precautions.
* Ability to handle frequent interruptions, adapt to changes in workload, and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, make effective decisions, and respond quickly to patients' needs. Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
* Ability to work cooperatively with health system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members, in accordance with Valley's SERVE and CARE standards. Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs
* Effective organizational and critical thinking skills, (e.g., analytical, problem-solving, decision making, prioritizing, time management, etc.) in order to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to changing situations
