Description
This individual will work closely with our with our construction, design and internal Engineering teams to publish and implement construction drawings and specifications of products we use within our spaces. In addition, this individual will work closely with vendors to develop products based off our requirements. Having an understanding of data center infrastructure and industry standards is crucial.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Construction Management or similar or equivalent experience 5+ years of structured cabling infrastructure (OSP/ISP) Experience working with low voltage power Ability to travel domestic and internal to various colocation across the globe
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills Knowledge of data centers Project Management experience Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure standards Ability to maintain records of design work (as builds) Strong understanding of network environments Ability to navigate AutoCAD Software Ability to create and manipulate CAD 2D & 3D models for use Proven success in team environments demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can make decisions quickly and independently, under tight deadlines
