SUMMARY
The Senior National Account Executive is responsible for driving new client acquisition, expanding market presence, and supporting revenue growth within Life Sciences vertical—including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, CROs, diagnostics, laboratories, and related clinical research organizations. This role focuses on identifying prospective clients, generating qualified leads, building strong relationships with decision-makers, and partnering closely with recruiting teams to deliver high-quality staffing solutions across contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire roles.
The ideal candidate has experience selling into Life Sciences organizations, is highly proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, target, and engage prospective Life Sciences clients through outbound outreach, networking, industry events, and warm leads.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across biotech, pharma, medical device, CROs, and diagnostics.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, hiring challenges, and project timelines.
- Present staffing solutions and service offerings that align with client workforce demands.
- Ability to forecast and target prospective opportunities with appropriate sales strategies.
- Coordinate with internal leadership to respond to RFPs, pricing requests, and service agreements.
- Develop long-term relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, HR, and talent acquisition leaders.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by understanding ongoing needs and maintaining regular communication.
- Partner with delivery/recruiting teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of Life Sciences trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes.
- Provide feedback to leadership regarding market opportunities, product/service enhancements, and client insights.
- Work closely with recruiters and account managers to ensure seamless transitions from prospect to active client.
- Track all sales activities in CRM (e.g., Bullhorn), maintain accurate pipeline reporting, and meet weekly/monthly activity targets.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews, sales forecasting, and strategic planning.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience, preferably in staffing, workforce solutions, or Life Sciences-related industries.
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences domains such as biotech, pharma, medical device, clinical research, labs, diagnostics, or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
- fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Experience supporting staffing or workforce solutions for Life Sciences roles (e.g., scientists, lab techs, clinical research associates, quality/regulatory professionals, R&D roles).
- Existing network within biotech, pharma, or CRO sectors.
- BS degree in Business Management, Life Sciences, Sales, or related field
- Ideal candidate would be in Central Florida.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference, and face to face contact
- Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity, and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard, and mouse
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
