Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Specialist, HR Business Partner to support the Airborne Solutions Sector, with a primary focus on the Malabar, FL Manufacturing and Quality organizations. This role is for you if you are a HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is energized by both the day-to-day realities of supporting manufacturing teams and the opportunity to shape broader organizational success. Partnering closely with leaders and employees, you will help drive a strong HR foundation, navigate employee relations matters, and create the space for strategic HR initiatives that grow site capability and support the continued growth of Airborne Solutions. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening the organization’s ability to deliver on time, enhance customer quality, and elevate employee engagement.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the malabar Manufacturing and Quality teams within the Airborne Solutions Sector.
  • Partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to strategically implement initiatives to drive business strategy and improve organizational capability.
  • Coach and build leadership capabilities to address and resolve both human and technical aspects of the work environment.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to drive talent solutions in the areas of talent acquisition, talent development, and succession planning; actively engaging with identifying key talent to build our pipeline.
  • Utilize data insights and trends to provide influence solutions to enable sound talent decisions and initiatives.
  • Effectively balance business partnership with employee advocacy.
  • Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned.
  • Ability to obtain US Government clearance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role, ideally supporting manufacturing, quality, or other operational teams within a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR strategies in performance management, engagement and retention, staffing, compensation, and leadership development.
  • Strong background in employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and supporting both leaders and individual contributors.
  • Ability to influence, navigate decision-making, and coach and consult with all levels of the organization in a positive and effective manner.
  • Experience supporting a P&L organization.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed organizations.
  • Project management experience leading projects and utilizing HR metrics and analytics to make recommendations and inform talent decisions.
