Job Summary: As a Courtesy Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role involves assisting customers with bagging groceries, retrieving carts, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. Join us in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers to enjoy their shopping experience.
Examples of Duties:

Greet customers with a friendly smile and offer assistance as needed.

Bag groceries for customers, ensuring items are packed carefully and efficiently.

Assist customers by taking their groceries out to their car.

Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store.

Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries about store services.

Maintain cleanliness in the store, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash bins and cleaning bathrooms.

Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.

Assist in maintaining order and safety in the store, including monitoring for spills and hazards.

Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service and safety.

Perform any other duties as designated by your department manager.
Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of grocery store layout and product locations.

Familiarity with customer service principles and practices.

Understanding of safety procedures and protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:
