This role helps create a clean, safe, and productive shopping environment while assisting with operational compliance. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Assist in managing day-to-day store operations and workflow. Ensure the store is clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing. Monitor product displays, merchandising standards, and promotional activities. Open and close the store as needed. Team Leadership Supervise, coach, and motivate store employees. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. Create employee schedules and manage labor costs. Address employee concerns and support performance improvement initiatives. Customer Service Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues promptly. Handle customer complaints and escalated service concerns. Promote a positive shopping experience and customer loyalty. Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product ordering. Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and rotation of merchandise. Reduce shrinkage through proper inventory control procedures. Conduct inventory counts and audits as required. Financial Responsibilities Assist in meeting sales and profitability targets. Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate register operations. Prepare reports and analyze store performance metrics. Support loss prevention and cost-control efforts. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety regulations. Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards. Support security procedures and loss prevention programs. QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. 2-5 years of retail, grocery, or supermarket management experience. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and basic computer applications. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bend, stoop, reach, and perform other physical tasks associated with retail operations. Preferred Skills Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Inventory control and merchandising experience. Cash management and financial reporting knowledge. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
