Job Purpose Summary Receive product and other deliveries into the store while maintaining an orderly and efficient receiving area. Inspect deliveries for both quantity and quality, including temperatures. Move freight from the receiving area to department staging areas and storage rooms. Record and organize invoices in accordance with Vintage Grocers policies and procedures. Report any receiving discrepancies to Store Leadership immediately. Maintain a clean and well-organized work area. Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices. Report all safety hazards and violations to Store Leadership immediately. Maintain back stock in good order. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized working and shopping environment by sweeping floors and keeping shelves clean and free of debris, crumbs, dust, etc. Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices. Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.   Non-Essential Job Duties May perform similar and incidental duties as required by Store Leadership QualificationsJob Qualifications Education: High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Experience: Produce experience preferred. Knowledge: Knowledge of basic aspects in the Produce industry. Other: Individual must have reliable transportation to arrive at work on time.
