Join the team at Hastings Dialysis in Malone, NY, providing hands-on care to patients receiving dialysis treatment under the supervision of experienced nurses. Our unit has 11 chairs and three patient changeovers per day, creating a fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail are important.

This is a full-time Monday/Wednesday/Friday position with no weekend requirement. The current schedule begins at 3:30 a.m. with 12-hour shifts, supporting patients whose treatments begin as early as 4:45–5:00 a.m. and continue through approximately 8:00 p.m.

Examples of What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of nurses
  • Access dialysis ports and monitor patients throughout treatment
  • Take and document vital signs every 30 minutes
  • Set up, operate, break down, and clean dialysis machines
  • Perform water room testing and temperature checks
  • Stock supplies and prepare/pack laboratory specimens
  • Document patient care and treatment information in the EMR

This is a physically active role requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, charting, and moving equipment and supplies. You must also be comfortable working with needles and blood.

Hastings Dialysis is a small, supportive team, so teamwork and interpersonal fit are especially important.

Employees who do not already have their CCHT certification will be expected to obtain it within 18 months of hire. Successfully passing the certification exam qualifies you for reimbursement of the certification cost.
