We are looking for a Responsible Gaming Team Leader to join our growing team.
Based in our Malta office, this role will lead our Responsible Gaming operations with a strong focus on the Swedish market.
In this role, you’ll coach and guide the RG team, oversee risk monitoring, and ensure our duty of care is upheld under the Swedish Gambling Act. While your primary focus will be Sweden, experience with other regulated markets (such as MGA, Ontario, etc.) will be considered a strong plus.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Lead, mentor, and support the RG team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth.
Oversee and optimise player risk monitoring, behaviour reviews, and tailored interventions such as limits, time-outs, and account closures.
Handle escalated RG cases with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Build and implement KPI frameworks and quality assurance initiatives — including calibrations, scorecards, and knowledge-gap analysis — with support from the Head of RG.
Collaborate closely with Customer Support, Compliance, Payments & Fraud, and other departments to ensure RG policies and procedures are consistently applied.
Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of all cases, interventions, and follow-ups.
Analyse player trends and risk data to improve workflows and strengthen RG interventions.
Drive cross-departmental collaboration to ensure safer gambling practices are embedded company-wide.
WHO ARE YOU?
Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken). Swedish is a huge plus!
Experience in an RG leadership role — team leadership, shift leadership, or mentoring within a regulated environment (iGaming, Compliance, Risk, or Player Safety).
Solid understanding of Sweden’s duty of care obligations (omsorgsplikt) under the Gambling Act and how to apply them effectively in day-to-day operations.
Hands-on experience with Spelpaus flows, player monitoring, and intervention processes.
Data-driven mindset — comfortable interpreting player trends and optimising workflows.
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to develop individuals and uplift team performance.
Confident handling complex RG cases and escalations with empathy and professionalism.
Comfortable working rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.
By joining us, you're not only gaining an opportunity to work and collaborate with the best talent in our industry, but you’ll also enjoy a range of fantastic perks!
A competitive and attractive salary
Private health insurance
Annual wellbeing benefit allowance
A weekly breakfast
Social events for building strong relationships with colleagues
