Responsibilities:

  • Support business risk and governance activities within the department by applying established frameworks to operational processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of execution for third party and vendor related business risk activities, including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and issue remediation.
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of controls, document gaps, and recommend practical improvements using industry best practices.
  • Execute and support key operational processes, including:
    • Financial reconciliations
    • License management
    • Usage audits and reporting
    • Issue tracking and remediation
    • MiFID II support
  • Partner with front office, product, and operations teams to support risk aware decision making and process improvements.
  • Provide governance input during new vendor engagements and process changes to help ensure risks are considered early.
  • Contribute to broader business risk and governance initiatives as scope evolves.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business risk, operational risk, investment operations, vendor management, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting governance, controls, or risk related activities in an operational environment

  • Familiarity with market data, investment operations, or related investment management processes
  • Prior experience within the investment management or broader financial services industry
