Job DetailsJob Location: Veranda Luxury Pontoons (17B57) - Malvern, AR 72104Position Type: Full Time Job Title: Engineering Technician  Incumbent: Open Reports to: Tony Beard Title: Product Development Manager Direct Reports: Yes No      Type of position:   Full Time Exempt Part- Time Nonexempt Contractor Student   AIM or MISSION: The AIM of the Engineering Technician is to create and maintain production 2-D and 3-D CAD files, create and update manufacturing part numbers in the ERP system, ensure bill of material accuracy, and manage the engineering change workflow. Additionally, the Engineering Technician will play a key role in compliance management and have some vendor responsibility. The Engineering Technician will work directly with the product development and production teams to bring new products to realization and to improve or maintain existing products.   DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:   Complete and update manufacturing drawings using 2-D and 3-D CAD. Set-up new manufactured part numbers in the ERP system. Quote the manufacturing costs of new products. Verify the manufacturing costs of existing products. Complete product costing exercises. Complete time studies and create manufacturing standards for processes. Manage the engineering change workflow. Draft engineering change notices (ECN) from requests (ECR) with proper documentation and ensure information is communicated to all applicable parties. Update records and control documentation. Assist in compiling information and drafting work instructions, training materials, compliance documents, and other documentation. Assist in managing product compliance. QualificationsKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Ensure all product data is accurate, complete, and up to date. Ensure bill of material and workorder accuracy. Ensure accurate material and labor costing. Product development management review.   REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: EDUCATION & OTHER KSA's COMPETENCIES Adept with Microsoft Office software suite, emphasis on advanced Excel Communication Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software Willingness to learn and openness to new ideas Proficient in either Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Systems Teamwork Proficient in Engineering Change workflow management Initiative   Creativity & Adaptability   Problem-Solving Skills   Technical and Spatial Reasoning   Organization
