Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations, set professional goals, and conduct performance reviews for the financial reporting team.
- Supervise the compilation and filing of critical regulatory disclosures, including Form PF and Form SLT.
- Act as the primary liaison for institutional clients and external auditors regarding accounting issues.
- Design training programs on updated financial rules, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS frameworks.
- Manage engagement budgets while assisting with fund accounting workflows during peak cycles.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
4–6 years of accounting experience within a Hedge Fund, Private Equity Administrator, or financial audit firm.
Deep understanding of complex derivatives and investment fund products (Hedge Fund experience strongly preferred).
At least 3 years of direct supervisory experience over investment fund accountants or auditors.
Strong technical writing skills and the ability to travel for client engagements as needed.
