Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Engineering Support – 50%Â
- Development of Engineering Owner's project requirements based on existing engineering standardsÂ
- Review basis of design for alignment to engineering standardsÂ
- Participation in gate reviews for assigned projectsÂ
- Sign-off on design reviews for assigned projectsÂ
- Review of key project submittalsÂ
- Review and coordination of key RFI responsesÂ
- Leading the effort between the project team and operations for turn over to and from the projectÂ
- Ensuring key owner tasks are integrated, coordinated into the project Â
- Acceptance of critical spaces at project turnover Â
- Development and implementation of training for IFM team for new systemsÂ
Commissioning – 25%Â
- Governance of Commissioning program in collaboration with IFM teamÂ
- Development of Owners requirements for Commissioning new project installationsÂ
- Program ownership for retro-commissioning efforts Â
Facility Management Support – 15%Â
- Support field teams technically with data analysis from building automation and other systemsÂ
Sustainability – 10%Â
- Support for LEED based projectsÂ
- Participation in LEED Operations and Maintenance effortsÂ
- Analysis of data to identify energy saving opportunities Â
QualificationsÂ
- Minimum of three years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.Â
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Â
- Familiarity with facility software systems including: maintenance management systems (CMMS, Planon), building automation systems (BAS, Distech)Â
- Decision-making skillsÂ
- Commissioning certification (required to obtain within first year)Â
- Analytical skillsÂ
- Knowledge of building systems and equipmentÂ
- Engineering degree preferredÂ
- LEED certification preferredÂ
- Third party vendor management experienceÂ
