 About the Role: 


We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Tester to support the quality and validation of our IRT solutions. This role is primarily focused on hands-on manual testing, including the creation and execution of test scripts, validation activities, and defect identification. You'll work closely with Product Owners and Engineers to ensure system requirements are thoroughly tested and met, while also contributing to test automation efforts by helping define and support automated testing requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep IRT experience, strong validation expertise, and a collaborative approach to software quality.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform hands-on testing of IRT systems to ensure functionality, quality, and compliance.
  • Create, execute, and maintain test scripts, test cases, and related validation documentation.
  • Author test requirements and acceptance criteria based on business and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineers to clarify requirements and test scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Develop traceability matrices, test summary reports, and other validation deliverables.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and processes.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to identify opportunities for test automation and help define automated testing requirements.


Skills: 

  • Strong knowledge of IRT systems and IRT system validation.
  • Experience creating and executing manual test scripts and test cases.
  • Experience writing test requirements and validation documentation.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC principles.
  • Ability to analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, including GxP and FDA-regulated systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience testing and validating IRT systems.
  • Experience creating, executing, and managing software test scripts and validation deliverables.
  • Experience using test management and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, or similar).
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
