Private Investments Product Strategist

As a Private Investments Product Strategist, you’ll help shape the future of our private markets offerings by researching new investment ideas and bringing them to life. You’ll work closely with partners across the organization, using market insight and analysis to influence product decisions and move initiatives from early concept through approval.

Responsibilities:

• Independently leads research projects to evaluate new investment strategies for private market products. Direct experience with evergreen structures, such as interval and tender offer funds preferred.

• Strong understanding of private equity, credit, real estate, and infrastructure investment strategies and competitive industry dynamics.

• Conducts deep analysis of strategic, competitive, client and market issues related to Vanguard's investment product line-up. Gathers qualitative and quantitative data from internal and external sources to make data-based recommendations about new products or changes to existing products

• Develops and maintains key internal stakeholder relationships across the organization. Presents investment ideas for consideration and evaluation to the various internal groups and governance committees.

• Defines project scope and requirements, establishes timeline, and ensures completion of deliverables.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Five years related work experience, including three years experience in product management, development or investment analysis/strategy.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

• CAIA, CFA, or CFP optional
