Job DetailsJob Location: Mammoth Lakes - Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $30.32 - $43.18 HourlyJob Shift: DayThe Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is part of a team concept in the clinical setting for the delivery of primary care in the ambulatory setting with an emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. This individual will work closely with the clinical staff, front desk personnel and other related departments. LVNs assist in caring for the sick, injured & healthy individuals, from a variety of ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, under the direction of physicians, mid-level providers, and Registered Nurses. LVNs should have a caring, sympathetic nature and the ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious or economic status. They also should have keen observational, and communication skills. As part of a health care team, they must be able to follow directions and work under close supervision. What You'll Do: Working as a lead in a Care Team with M.A., EMT, CNA, and Scribes. Responsible for helping keep the patient flow in the clinic, rooming and preparing the patient to be seen by the provider. Medication administration including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and urinary catheter placement. Setting up for and assisting with minor surgeries in the clinic. Regular patient communication with results, prescription refills, and assisting patients with care coordination.  Who You Are: Outstanding team player Excellent communication skills Great computer skills Qualifications: State of California Vocational Nurse license required American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required IV Certification preferred One year experience as an LVN preferred Job Information: Full-time, day shifts. 4, 10 hour shifts and 5, 8 hour shifts to include Monday-Saturday coverage.
