Sonographer / Ultrasound Technician


We are seeking a PRN skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will utilize advanced imaging technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring high-quality care and accurate results. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety

- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images

- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, and communicate findings to physicians

- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging data

- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans

- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Technician or Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent preferred)

- BLS Certification
