Problem Management: Resolve moderately complex problem management issues by investigating and implementing solutions for systems/operations, including installations, setups, error messages, online transactions, system/application status, testing solutions, and operational procedures in line with service level agreements (SLA’s)Â
Audit Support: Assist in supporting audit processes to ensure all audit procedures are followed and adhered to, aiming for no audit findingsÂ
Automation and Scripting: Leverage automation and scripting, particularly with Python, to identify and automate repetitive tasks, enhancing operational efficiency and day-to-day workÂ
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge of CI/CD tools, UNIX/Linux operating systems, Ansible and Playbooks, and ServiceNow. Familiarity with databases and message-based software systems is essential. Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems is also requiredÂ
Database Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of Oracle and other databases, ensuring effective management and troubleshootingÂ
Documentation and Validation: Document deployment steps and validate in test environments before making them ready for production deploymentsÂ
Collaboration and Resiliency: Partner with Application Development teams to build application resiliency, implement service level objectives, and establish end-to-end observability. Participate in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflowsÂ
Incident Management and On-Call Support:Â Troubleshoot and restore system processing during incidents and problems. Participate in on-call rotation as needed to ensure seamless operationsÂ

We are seeking professionals with:Â
Â
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplineÂ
5 - 7 years of hands-on experience contributing to software development teamsÂ
Experience working in a Linux environmentÂ
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PerlÂ
Experience with configuration management tools such as AnsibleÂ
Experience with source code repositories such as GitHub and BitbucketÂ
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVMÂ
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and KubernetesÂ
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environmentÂ
Ability to analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutionsÂ
The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $101,303.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $188,135.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employee’s contingent on personal and company performance. Our generous benefits program includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no premium costs for our employees and their families, and retirement plan plus matching 401k.
