Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facilities Technician is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical greenhouse infrastructure systems and equipment. Focus on industrial sized Irrigation equipment, Boilers, LED lighting, Cooling equipment and back up generation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
Execute key reactive maintenance, when necessary, to minimize any downtime.
Work cross-functionally with growing, and maintenance to drive operational success.
Troubleshoot and repair Facilities systems.
Execute CMMS work orders.
Respond to equipment breakdowns.
Assist with projects and safety compliance.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

TCAT or equivalent work experience required.
2–3 years related experience preferred.
Experience with CMMS preferred.
No fear of heights (glass repair)
Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
Electrical (trouble shooting)
Plumbing
Mechanical
Good work ethic, independently driven
Team player
Drive a fork truck
Standing on feet for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 60lbs
Working in both greenhouse and cold storage environments
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
