We’re looking for talented individuals who demonstrate a track record of delivering a white glove experience to clients that results in long-term client loyalty.


The Client Relations Manager assists clients with the loan application process and services their needs post-loan close. The Client Relations Manager has a thorough understanding of the residential mortgage and HELOC loan origination process as well as servicing channels for mortgage and deposit requests. The Client Relations Manager also assists with credit analysis and prequalification, though specific loan product is dependent on their respective Relationship Manager. The Client Relations Manager is able to stand in for their Relationship Manager in their absence.
 

Primary responsibilities include

  • Assist with fielding prospects, including taking introductory meetings and providing rates when the Relationship Manager is not available. This would include hosting brokers open houses, creating a database of local realtors and helping with community involvement in our newly expanded footprint in Manchester by the Sea.  Also, to meet with centers of influence and businesses in the footprint.  Also work with our data base on an outreach initiative to clients in Cape Ann to obtain new private banking relationships.
  • Firm understanding of Relationship Manager's clientele and product specialty.
  • Routinely reviews existing client base for deposit and private wealth opportunities and prospects.
  • Respond to client inquiries and servicing requests in a timely manner (response within 30 minutes, solution within 1-2 business days, varying on complexity). 
  • Assists their respective relationship manager with coordinating client meetings, events, and gifts.
  • Manages the active loan pipeline, assisting the client from the preapproval stage, through underwriting, closing, and post close:
    • Pre-qualifications and documentation analysis for prospective clients.
    • Answering questions about Initial Loan Estimate.
  • Working closely with the Lending Specialist to obtain additional needed documentation.
  • Working closely with their Preferred Banker to obtain additional documentation for deposit relationship opening, ensuring this is completed in the pre-approval stage.
  • Coordinating with escrow to schedule their loan closing post approval and assisting with client's down payment to escrow.
  • Answering client questions on closing disclosure and loan documents. 
  • Ensuring client is set up with online tools for viewing and managing their mortgage.
  • Work closely with a private banker to field deposit related operation requests, including wires and transfers, assistance with online banking support, obtaining statements and tax documents, research requests, and more.
  • Assist with preparing pre-approval letters, commitment letters, term sheets, and/or letters of intent.
  • Unique opportunity to build referral opportunities and relationships with commercial banking

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 5+years of experience with private bank clients in supporting relationship manager activities, preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing the lending process from open to close.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Preferred specialized knowledge of residential lending analysis for sophisticated clients.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F; Position is based in Manchester by the Sea. Expectation is to be in the Manchester office 4 days a week with one of those days potentially in Boston.
  • Office is conveniently located near public transportation into Boston for ease of commute

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $145,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
