TITLE: Utility & Inventory Control

REPORTS TO: Logistics Specialist

SUPERVISES: None

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Factory

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct audits of both finished goods and in process product in all inventory locations.
Record and make corrections of errors found.
Make corrections in Access database.
Complete daily audits as required.
Run and prepare audit reports as needed.
Alert Supervisor to any problems.
Clearly document and report to Supervisor daily errors found.
Pressure test 55gal drums, certify for reuse.
Clean totes – water and solvent based.
Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Flexible to work any shift.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Wear all required safety PPE and perform all work duties in a safe manner.
Forklift certified and have the ability to work safely at elevated heights.
Ability to use a PC for data entry.
Working knowledge of inventory system (SAP).
Complete successful interview with Cost Accounting Manager.
Must pass basic math assessment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Outlook.
Knowledge of Distribution and Manufacturing processes.
Communication – ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Visual aptitude – must be able to see with or without correction.
Must be able to perform math – addition, subtraction, multiplication.
Must be able to perform conversion (kg to lb)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform standing job for 10 consecutive hours.
Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 10 hour period.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
