Job Description:

Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit storytelling and communications with Easterseals NH as part of the organization’s 90th birthday celebration!

You’ll help share the stories of the people, programs, and impact that have shaped Easterseals NH over the past 90 years through blogs, newsletter features, and social media content.

This role offers experience in interviewing, writing, content creation, photography, and nonprofit communications strategy while contributing to a meaningful milestone campaign.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct interviews with staff, participants, families, and community members to gather stories and quotes for anniversary content.

  •  Write and edit blog posts, newsletter stories, and social media content highlighting Easterseals NH’s history, impact, and community connections.

  • Assist in maintaining a content calendar for anniversary storytelling initiatives.

  • Support photography and short-form video capture at programs, events, and interviews.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team on campaign planning and storytelling ideas.

  •  Provide general support for marketing and communications initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Current undergraduate student 
• Interest in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or storytelling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable conducting interviews and engaging with a variety of individuals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic photography or video experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms
• Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic about the organization’s mission
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
