​Job Description: 

Who We Are:

The Oncology Service Department at the Elliot Hospital takes great pride in serving their community, patients, and families. If you are a Clinical Dietician with strong clinical experience/skills and you love to care for patients, come and join our incredible team!

About the Job:

Evaluates, assesses, and plans clinical nutrition care specific to adult outpatients with cancer. Provides nutritional information to staff, physicians, students, and the community individually and through group programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Completes comprehensive nutrition assessments in accordance with licensure, scope of training and specialty and organizational standards
  • Clearly communicates recommendations to the patient and clinical team through medical record documentation and other communication mechanisms
  • Conducts patient and community education programs and support group presentations related to nutrition and cancer
  • Researches and maintains knowledge base for latest developments in nutrition for oncology patients and for cancer prevention

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, Required
    • Major course of study in human nutrition, nutrition education, food and nutrition, dietetics, public health nutrition, or food systems management
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting with some cancer patients, Required
  • Registration with the American Dietetic Association, and RD registration with the State of New Hampshire, Required
  • Excellent clinical documentation, and successful usage of EMR systems, Preferred
