Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career development

  • Innovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functions

  • Proactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrences

  • Provide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standards

  • Develop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organization

  • Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standards

  • Collaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materials

  • Design ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well-being

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of progressive HSE experience, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, influence, and engage teams.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience managing risk assessments, incident analysis, and safety programs.
  • Excellent communication, training, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent are a plus.
