About the Role:

Guardian Information Services Inc is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Administrator to join our growing IT team in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
Assist with network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Support day-to-day IT operations and respond to network-related help desk tickets
Assist in managing VPNs, LAN/WAN environments, and wireless networks
Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and security patches
Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
Collaborate with senior administrators on infrastructure projects and upgrades

Requirements:

1+ year of experience in network administration or a related IT role
Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
Familiarity with firewalls, switches, APs and other networking hardware
Basic understanding of network security principles and best practices
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
