Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating metal fabrication equipment and producing high-quality accessories and panels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate metal fabrication machinery including shears, brakes, roll formers, slitters, and related equipment
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and fabrication drawings
- Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate metal materials to specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and workmanship
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials
- Follow company safety procedures and production schedules
Qualifications
- Previous metal fabrication or sheet metal experience preferred
- Experience operating fabrication machinery required
- Ability to read tape measures and basic fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Bi-lingual in spanish and english required
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Forklift experience is a plus
