Bilingual Floor Care Technician

About the Position

As a Floor Technician at Office Pride, you will play a critical role in maintaining and restoring hard floors and carpeted surfaces across a variety of commercial facilities. This position requires an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering high quality floor care services with attention to detail, professionalism, and consistency.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated bilingual team member with experience in commercial floor care, including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, and specialty floor maintenance. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.

Schedule: Full-time, primarily evenings and nights
Additional weekday and occasional weekend work will be required based on project schedules and customer needs.

Floor Technician Responsibilities

Perform commercial floor care services including:

• Floor stripping, sealing, and waxing
• Deep scrubbing and refinishing
• High speed burnishing
• Carpet extraction and low moisture carpet cleaning
• Spot removal and deodorization
• Rubber floor cleaning and restoration
• Operating auto scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and other floor equipment
• Properly mix and use cleaning chemicals according to company and safety standards
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
• Complete assigned projects efficiently and thoroughly
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE appropriately
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and customers
• Assist with general cleaning duties when needed

Floor Technician Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial floor care experience required
• Experience with stripping and waxing VCT floors required
• Experience operating commercial floor equipment required
• Bilingual English/Spanish required (must be able to communicate effectively in both languages)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Ability to lift equipment and supplies and work in physically demanding environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Starting at $20.00+/hour based on experience
