General Job Description

Edmonson Electric, the premier residential electrical contractor in Tampa Bay is looking for helpers for the Brandon location.

We pay weekly; benefits include:
The 1st of the month after starting to work, we provide:

Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction
• Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications
• Helping with installation of electrical services on new construction homes
• Ensuring safety while on job site of yourself and others around you while working.
• Helper is responsible for learning proper installation techniques

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Accuracy with measurements
• Willingness to learn to read electrical prints and to scale prints
• Ensuring that work is done to NEC code and all applicable county/state codes.
•Ability to troubleshoot home during trim installation to ensure readiness for hot check and county inspections.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.
• Must have clean driving record.
