Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager serves as the on-site leader responsible for the overall performance, safety, and efficiency of warehouse operations. This role oversees all operational aspects, ensuring seamless coordination of inbound and outbound logistics. The manager is accountable for executing daily operations while driving continuous improvement, maintaining service levels, and fostering a high-performance team culture.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Drive initiatives focused on incident prevention and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment for all employees.

Site Leadership & Operations Management

  • Own end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping
  • Maintain full accountability for the physical facility and costs, including building systems, maintenance, security, and vendor management to ensure uninterrupted operations
  • Serve as the primary decision maker and escalation point for all site operations

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate dock scheduling, labor planning, and carrier interactions
  • Optimize dock utilization and throughput to meet daily volume targets and OTD
  • Collaborate with transportation and supply chain partners to ensure smooth flow of goods

Inventory & Process Control

  • Ensure accurate inventory management, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes
  • Drive process improvement to reduce errors, shrinkage, and inefficiencies
  • Oversee warehouse management systems to ensure data integrity
  • Ensure strict adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
  • Work actively to reduce defects, scrap, and rework in the warehousing process.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to address quality issues.

People & Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and develop both warehouse floor staff
  • Drive accountability and set clear performance expectations for all team members.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, engagement, and continuous improvement among staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field preferred
  • 5-10+ years of warehouse or distribution center leadership experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
