Paradise Lakes Resort is a clothing-optional resort seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pool Service Technician to join our team. If you take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and inviting pool facilities while providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!

Position Summary

As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and proper operation of our swimming pools, hot tubs, and water features. This includes daily water testing, equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and ensuring all facilities meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Water Chemistry & Quality

  • Perform daily water testing and maintain proper chemical balance, including pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and stabilizer levels.
  • Ensure all pools and spas maintain crystal-clear, safe water.
Routine Pool Maintenance

  • Skim debris, vacuum pool floors, brush walls and tile lines.
  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
  • Backwash and clean filtration systems as needed.
Equipment Maintenance

  • Inspect pumps, motors, heaters, salt systems, filters, and related equipment.
  • Identify leaks, wear, and equipment issues, and perform minor repairs or report major maintenance needs.
Documentation

  • Maintain accurate daily logs of water chemistry, maintenance performed, and any repairs or issues requiring attention.
Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all pool and spa areas comply with local health department regulations, OSHA guidelines, and Paradise Lakes Resort standards.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and members.
Qualifications

  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Friendly, dependable, and committed to providing excellent guest service.
