Coordinates the daily activities of the dental associates. Maintains equipment, supplies, operatory area(s), and delivery of quality dental services.
Job Responsibility
- Prepares operatory prior to examination/treatment by setting up instruments consistent with procedure to be performed.
- Assists dentist at chair-side during examination and treatment of patients with suctioning, reflecting tissues, passing instruments, and the preparation and handling of dental materials and medicaments.
- Performs dental laboratory procedures including, model pouring and trimming and fabricating mouth guards.
- Develops and maintains dental x-rays during patient procedures.
- Cleans, bags, and sterilizes instruments used and is responsible for tray set-ups.
- Assists in ordering, stocking, and dispensing inventory items, and maintaining the inventory control system.
- Maintains equipment, supplies, and overall clinical facility as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.
- May participate in training of department's dental assisting students, as directed by management.

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
