How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver exceptional imaging services by performing precise mammography procedures that serve as the critical first step in early breast cancer detection.

  • Empower and comfort patients through clear education about their procedures and the vital role regular mammography plays in preventive breast health.

  • Ensure diagnostic excellence by accurately positioning patients and meticulously validating image quality, data, and markers before prompt submission to PACS.

  • Champion radiation safety by strictly adhering to established protocols and guidelines, protecting both yourself and the patients in your care.

  • Maintain seamless clinical operations by monitoring equipment performance and keeping procedure environments pristine, ensuring an optimal environment for patient care.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
