Argenta is currently looking to fill the role of Veterinarian at our Manhattan, KS  location. Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Head of Research Services with mentoring of new and/or existing Investigators and Animal Care TechniciansÂ
- Oversee daily workload for Animal Care Technicians on assigned projects.
- Coordinates and conducts GCP and study protocol training at study sites and assures training is documentedÂ
- Establishes rapport with study site staff to assure compliance with the protocol, applicable regulatory and guidance documents, SOPs, and all study activitiesÂ
- Provides tracking and Quality Control (QC) of data as required and assists with responses to QA auditsÂ
- Mastery of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)Â
- Monitors and maintains the health and well-being of on-site animals in compliance with animal use guidelines.Â
- Mastery of USDA guidelines and IACUC protocols in relation to animal careÂ
- Advises MVS management regarding IVP/CVP and study materials managementÂ
About You:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from accredited university programÂ
- Current Veterinary license in good standingÂ
- Minimum of 7 yearsâ experience in a scientific discipline and/or veterinary experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skillsÂ
- Experience working with EDC systems (Electronic Data Capture) is a plusÂ
- Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), data management, quality control and/or quality assurance is preferredÂ
- Must possess a valid driverâs license and proper travel documentation i.e., passport, and have the ability to travel Â
- A collaborative working style to be able to lead and motivate people at all levels and across all functions in an organizationÂ
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Â
- Ability to think outside of the box and develop flexible approaches to resolve complex issuesÂ
