At Speedwell Construction, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support our project management team and help keep projects running smoothly from startup through closeout.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced construction environment. You'll serve as a key connection between the office, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while helping manage the critical documentation and processes that keep projects on track.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Process and maintain project documentation including contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and closeout documents.
  • Track project change orders from identification through approval and distribution.
  • Support Project Managers and field staff with administrative and project coordination tasks.
  • Process project invoices and assist with job cost accounting activities.
  • Set up projects in company software systems and maintain project records.
  • Coordinate project startup and closeout documentation.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain required project documentation.
  • Assist with company initiatives focused on process improvement, subcontractor development, and operational efficiency.
  • Occasionally assist with front desk responsibilities and visitor reception.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred

  • Administrative experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction software platforms.
  • Experience with Viewpoint and Bluebeam.
  • Basic understanding of Information Technology.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with occasional visits to active construction sites and training events. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when visiting jobsites.
