Production Scheduler

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Full-Time, ON-SITE | Approximately 45 hours/week

Location: Manheim, PA

About the Role

Kreider Farms is looking for a Production Scheduler to help coordinate purchasing, inventory, customer orders, and production needs. This position is on-site, NOT REMOTE. This role works closely with Logistics, Production, Egg Processing, Quality Assurance, vendors, and customers to keep operations running smoothly. If you’re organized, tech-savvy, a strong communicator, and enjoy keeping things moving, we’d like to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Egg production scheduling
  • Coordinate daily egg orders, transfers, and carton needs.
  • Monitor inventory and place orders to maintain appropriate supply levels.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve order, supply, and scheduling issues.
  • Support production scheduling and anticipate future inventory needs.
  • Maintain accurate product and inventory information in company systems.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding orders and product requirements.
  • Help manage product rotation, restocking, and inventory at egg locations.
  • Use problem-solving skills to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you’re comfortable working with people at all levels.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, dependable, and able to make sound decisions independently.
  • Willingness to occasionally respond to evening or weekend operational needs.

Preferred (not required): Experience in poultry, agriculture, food production, procurement, inventory management, production scheduling, ERP systems, or PEN software.
