Project Assistant/Field Technician

Job Summary: 

We are seeking motivated and skilled team members to join our Construction Projects team. The ideal candidates will be able to work independently and collaboratively on a variety of construction projects, including waterlines, septic systems, storm water basins, building pad excavation, land development, well replacements, and emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate a variety of construction equipment including but not limited to telehandlers, track skid steers, Deere 160 excavator, Bobcat E35, Cat D5 dozer, triaxle dump trucks, and Well truck pulling rig
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of waterlines, septic systems, and storm water management systems
• Conduct excavation for building pads and land development projects
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
• Execute emergency repairs as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Key Skills and Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment
• General pipeline/plumbing knowledge is a plus
• Farm knowledge or background preferred
• Clean driving record, and valid drivers license required. CDL A preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Applicants must not live on chicken farms or have backyard chicken flocks
