McLeod Women’s Care Clarendon is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our community of dedicated providers!

***Experienced candidates preferred, but will consider a new graduate***

Qualifications /Training:

  • 1 to 3 years related work experience.

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:

  • Certified Nurse Midwife degree required.
  • BLS

 

Job Description:

  1. Job Responsibilities include those listed in competencies document.
  2. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. 
  3. Assess the needs of patients based on data collected by reviewing electronic medical records, and clinical support staff.
  4. Records physical findings and formulates care plan.
  5. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and healthcare needs.
  6. Provide hospital call coverage for OB.
  7. Maintains professional clinical knowledge for licensure and completes required training according to deadline.
