The primary responsibilities will be supporting the procurement department in data analysis, communication, assisting in developing data supported efficiency improvements, and supplier development.Â

Essential Functions:Â Â

1.            Cost Savings and Efficiency Projects – 35% Â
- Collect and analyze site-wide data, including defining, measuring, and tracking categories for spending to support procurement decision-makingÂ
- Extensive communication between intercompany suppliers, buyers, and design. Â
- Create and update detailed process instructions to support risk management and efficiency.Â
2.            Supplier/Product Setup and Maintenance – 35%Â
- Assist purchasing create new products with supporting data and check for duplicates.Â
- Assist purchasing create new suppliers and assist in supplier assessment.Â
- Review old products, correct setup issues, add missing dataÂ
3.            Other – 30%Â
- Occasional buyer support including placing purchase order requests, negotiating, etc. Â
- Detailed report reviewÂ
- Monitor and adjust safety stock levels based off usage and lead timesÂ
Â
Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements:Â Â
- Minimum bachelor’s degree requiredÂ
- 4 years related experience in procurement, finance, etc. may replace college education.  Â
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Â
- Good MS Office Skills including Excel, and data management experience. Â
- 4 years’ Management Experience in manufacturing environmentÂ
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow in an efficient way. Â
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Â
