Job Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring manufactured parts meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves inspecting products, collecting measurement data, and verifying that parts meet requirements before they move forward in the production process or reach the customer.
Key Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections of manufactured parts to ensure quality standards are met

Inspect parts using fixtures and testing equipment

Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, scales, and gauges

Use Go/No-Go gauges to verify part dimensions and tolerances
-
Collect and record part measurement data accurately

Conduct destructive testing when required to verify product integrity

Perform routine checks of sensors and test parts to ensure equipment accuracy
-
Support and participate in part sorting activities when quality concerns arise
-
Review and approve reworked parts to ensure they meet specifications
-
Complete First Part Approval following machine changeovers

Follow and maintain Change Point Control and Changeover Procedures
-
Maintain and follow work instructions at each process step
-
Participate in Kaizen boards and continuous improvement activities
-
Maintain 5S workplace organization standards
-
Document daily quality activities through shift summary notes
-
Complete required training and obtain proper sign-offs
Qualifications
-
Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environments preferred

Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection equipment (calipers, gauges, scales)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards and procedures

Ability to record data accurately and communicate findings clearly
-
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
