Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Automotive Runner to support our dealership/service operations. This role is responsible for transporting vehicles, assisting customers with transportation needs, delivering automotive parts, and completing various errands and inter-company deliveries. The ideal candidate has a clean driving record, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver customer vehicles safely and efficiently. 
  • Transport customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or other destinations. 
  • Pick up and deliver automotive parts, supplies, and materials from vendors and partner locations. 
  • Perform inter-company deliveries between dealership, service, and administrative locations. 
  • Conduct vehicle transfers between company locations. 
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle movements. 
  • Inspect vehicles before and after transport and report any damage or concerns. 
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and work areas. 
  • Support service, parts, and sales departments with miscellaneous errands and operational tasks. 
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service during all customer interactions. 

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to drive a variety of vehicle types, including cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and light commercial vehicles. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks throughout the day. 
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organized. 
  • Ability to use smartphones, navigation apps, and basic electronic communication tools. 
  • Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review. 
  • Previous automotive, delivery, transportation, or dealership experience is preferred but not required.
