About the Role:

Wag N' Wash 3039 in Mansfield, TX is looking for a passionate and experienced Grooming Lead to join our fun, pet-loving team! In this role, you'll take the lead in delivering top-notch grooming services while helping to guide and inspire a team of fellow groomers. Responsibilities:

Perform full-service grooming on dogs and of all breeds and sizes, including bathing, drying, trimming, and styling
Lead, mentor, and support grooming staff to ensure quality and consistency of services
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming salon in compliance with health and safety standards
Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, coat conditions, and pet behavior
Assist in scheduling grooming appointments and managing salon workflow for efficiency
Monitor and report supply inventory, placing orders as needed to keep the salon fully stocked
Handle pets with care and compassion, identifying any health or behavioral concerns and escalating as appropriate

Requirements:

2+ years of professional pet grooming experience required
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a grooming or pet care setting preferred
Proficiency in breed-specific cuts, hand-scissoring, and finishing techniques
Strong animal handling skills with a calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
Knowledge of grooming tools, equipment maintenance, and sanitation best practices
