Position Summary


The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment, conducting inspections, and providing remote troubleshooting support. This role requires regular travel to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, to support emergency service needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and quality. Success in this position depends on technical precision, thorough documentation, and continuous 

improvement.

This position reports to the Service Supervisor – Mansfield, TX 

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities


The Service Technician will perform the following functions. Additional duties may be assigned as required:

  • Conduct incoming inspections for all rental equipment, including rope inspections using Scope equipment
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on heavy equipment both on-site and in-house
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems remotely and in person
  • Deliver equipment training and technical support to customers
  • Manage service records, parts inventory, and maintenance schedules using SAP and Verizon Connect
  • Travel to customer locations as needed, including emergency service calls
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure equipment aesthetics and presentation meet company standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment in compliance with housekeeping standards
  • Follow all departmental safety protocols and company compliance policies
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or production management
