Join our team as a Lead Electrical Engineer to architect and execute the design of Videology鈥檚 next-generation industrial-grade embedded imaging systems. This is a senior-level, hands-on role that combines system-level architecture with schematic PCB design.

You鈥檒l architect and develop high-speed, reliable electronic systems including image signal processors, high-speed digital interfaces, and image sensors. You will also guide contributions from internal and external teams, overlooking quality and consistency across global design workflows.

Please Note: This is a senior-level position requiring 10+ years of experience in hardware system design and PCB development. Applicants without substantial hands-on design experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Architect embedded hardware platforms that integrate image sensors and processors, DDR memory, Ethernet, MIPI, SPI, I2C, and FPGAs

路 Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer, taking ownership of critical board development

路 Define system architecture, PCB stack-ups, interface specifications, and signal/power integrity strategies

路 Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, DFM/DFT, thermal, and environmental standards for industrial-grade performance

路 Review and guide the work of internal engineers, contractors, and offshore teams to ensure alignment with architectural direction

路 Collaborate with firmware and software teams to define interfaces, bring-up procedures, and debug strategies

路 Conduct hands-on validation using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers

路 Lead hardware design reviews, establish standards and checklists, and support continuous improvement in design processes

路 Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing across the organization聽

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: 聽聽聽聽聽10+ years total, with substantial experience in schematic capture, PCB 聽聽聽聽聽layout, and hardware system architecture
  • Education: 聽聽聽聽聽Bachelor's or Master鈥檚 in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Location: 聽聽聽聽聽Mansfield, MA (on-site position, no remote option)
  • Tools: 聽聽聽聽聽Altium Designer (expert-level), basic Embedded C (for board 聽聽聽聽聽bring-up/debug)

Technical Requirements

  • Proven 聽聽聽聽聽track record designing and delivering high-speed digital boards (Ethernet, 聽聽聽聽聽DDR, MIPI, SPI, FPGA)
  • Expertise 聽聽聽聽聽in signal integrity, power distribution, stack-up optimization, and 聽聽聽聽聽thermal design
  • Expertise 聽聽聽聽聽in EMI/EMC compliance and familiarity with FCC/CE and IPC standards
  • Ability 聽聽聽聽聽to architect systems, then personally implement and validate key parts of 聽聽聽聽聽the design
  • Hands-on 聽聽聽聽聽experience with lab equipment for hardware validation, debugging, and 聽聽聽聽聽rework
  • Comfortable 聽聽聽聽聽writing and maintaining technical documentation, interface specs, and 聽聽聽聽聽design rules聽

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience 聽聽聽聽聽with camera electronics and optics integration
  • Exposure 聽聽聽聽聽to wireless or RF design
  • Familiarity 聽聽聽聽聽with product lifecycle support and sustaining engineering practices
  • Heatsink, 聽聽聽聽enclosure, and mechanical design insights
