The Senior Test Lab Technician is a supporting role responsible for performing complex testing and analysis following product testing standards and work instructions. Individuals in this role have notable experience and knowledge in lab capabilities and standards. They have the ability to lead projects and support complex testing activities and require no supervision in day-to day activities.

1. Setup and conduct tests of product assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components as per agreed upon test plan and work instructions with no assistance.

2. Accurately record test results of numerical and observed data. Support Project Leader in data analysis where assigned with some supervision.

3. Adhere to ISO 17025 standard guidelines.

4. Prioritize work to align with the goals of the department and various project teams.

5. Ability to generate test reports of basic projects with minimal supervision from Project Leaders.

6. Appropriately handle and prepare samples for testing.

7. Provide support, direction, and recommendations in the development of new test fixtures, test methods, and continuous improvement projects as assigned with no supervision.

8. Assist in coordination and support of lab equipment maintenance and calibration where assigned.

9. Ability to lead basic projects with minimal supervision from Project Leaders.

10. Demonstrated experience in quality of work in soldering/rework of complex PCB/PBCA and IPC610 trained or certified. (where applicable)

11. Demonstrated experience and application of knowledge and skills applied to complex mechanical testing activities with no supervision. (where applicable)

12. Utilization of complex electronic test and measurement equipment with no supervision. (where applicable)

13. Perform other duties as requested.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of High School or GED equivalent degree, or minimum 7 years related work experience. Associates or Technical School degree preferred. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as attention to detail and organization. Ability to adapt and function in an environment of changing priorities often under tight time constraints.
