Maintenance Assistant


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and upkeep of our premises, ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.


Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building upkeep

- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently

- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify and address potential problems

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies

- Support the setup and breakdown of facilities for events or special functions

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or a related field

- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
