- Are you a proactive, high-energy professional who loves balancing the fun of childcare with the satisfaction of keeping a home running like a well-oiled machine? If you’re a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, our busy Maple Grove family wants to meet you!
- We have two awesome, energetic boys (ages 10.5 and 8) who need a positive role model, a chauffeur to activities, and a partner in fun. When they are at school, you'll shift gears into Household Manager mode to keep our lives organized and seamless. Providing attentive pet care to our lovable 3-year-old Golden Retriever is also a core requirement of this role, ensuring our furry family member is well-loved and looked after throughout the day.
The Schedule (Guaranteed Full-Time Hours)
We offer consistency and stability, paying you for full-time hours regardless of the season!
- School Year Hours: Roughly 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Summer Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Date Night Flexibility: One day per week (both in summer and the school year) will feature a later start and a later evening finish so mom and dad can enjoy a date night!
- Travel/Overnights: We need someone open to occasional overnight care when we travel for business or pleasure (our longest trip to date has been 5 nights).
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging Childcare: Provide attentive, fun, and safe care for our two boys. You’ll handle school pick-ups/drop-offs, homework help, and after-school routines.
- Household Management: Take the reins on daily operations! This includes organizing, light laundry, keeping the home tidy, and anticipating the family's needs before we even ask.
- Meal Prep & Allergy Safety: Prepare healthy snacks and meals. Crucial: Our oldest son has multiple food allergies, so strict adherence to allergy protocols and safety is a must.
- Errand Running: Manage schedules, grocery shop, and tackle miscellaneous household tasks to keep us moving forward.
- Pet Care: Daily walks, belly rubs, and ensuring there is food and clean water available for our loveable 3-year-old golden retriever.Â
Who You Are
- An Experienced Pro: You have a proven track record as a professional nanny or household manager with glowing references to match.
- A Self-Starter: You don’t need a checklist to see what needs doing. You take pride in ownership and love creating an organized, happy environment.
- Trustworthy & Kind: You bring an energetic, positive, "can-do" attitude to work every day.
- Safe Driver: You possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a safe, reliable vehicle for running errands and transporting the boys. (We fully reimburse for fuel costs above your normal commute!)
- Allergy-Conscious: You take food safety seriously and are comfortable managing strict dietary restrictions.
- Must love dogs!
