Description

Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is seeking a skilled and passionate Patient Coordinator to join our well-established team. This candidate will primarily float between our Maple Grove and Coon Rapids locations. Travel will be required between several locations dependent upon location of the selected candidate. 

Working Hours Mon-Thurs 7am-3:30pm and Fri 7am-1pm

  • Manage patient scheduling, Confirm appointments, and working to fill empty schedule time. 
  • Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographics, collecting detailed personal and financial information. Attention to detail is a must. 
  • Work closely with the clinical team to coordinate patient needs, making sure that patient wait times are minimized and their experience is as efficient as possible.
  • Ensure  patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and protecting sensitive information at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
  • Take and relay messages for providers and staff in a timely and accurate manner to ensure effective communication.
  • Oversee the timely processing of mail and any other administrative tasks that support the office’s day-to-day operations.


Requirements

 

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • 1-3  years of experience in a dental office or medical office setting preferred- experience with oral surgery is a plus!
