Position Overview:

As a Phlebotomist, you will combine technical expertise with patient care to deliver accurate, timely lab results. You will perform blood draws, process specimens, and work alongside a collaborative healthcare team—all while creating a safe, supportive experience for patients.

Hourly Range: $20.00 - $23.00, based on years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures for patients of all ages
  • Log specimens into the laboratory information system, prepare specimens for testing, and transport specimens to reference lab as needed
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of phlebotomy procedures in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Answer phones, take messages, and provide routine laboratory-related information to patients and staff
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

 

Qualifications:


  • Phlebotomy Certification preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
