Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for performing daily shipping and receiving tasks to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials and finished goods. This role includes loading/unloading trucks, verifying shipments, preparing outbound orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies. Prepare outbound shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging for carrier pickup. Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts or other material handling equipment. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in ERP or warehouse management systems. Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and material staging for production. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Communicate with internal teams regarding material shortages, order status, and discrepancies.
