Stock Associate - Closing Shift and Saturdays

Join our team at Spikes and Houles Feed Stores! We are a small, community-oriented feed store in Maple Plain, MN, committed to delivering top-notch service to our customers. We’re currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Stock Associate.  This position offers an estimated 20 hours/week schedule, 3p-7p occasional weekdays and Saturday 12p-6p availability is required. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by loading feed and merchandise into customer vehicles.
• Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and stock inventory using equipment such as hand dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Manage stock rotation and care for seasonal plants.
• Perform light maintenance duties around the building and grounds.
• Pull retail and commercial orders daily and ensure they’re ready for customers.
• Assist with shipping, including assembling, addressing, and stamping orders.
• Participate in inventory audits.
• Take on special tasks and projects as needed.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Able to accurately pull orders by reading loading tickets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older to operate heavy equipment (forklift, skid loader, etc.).

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Occasional carrying, moving, and positioning of objects up to 60 pounds.
• Ongoing communication with team members and customers.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
